When Bill Brown decided to "save his butt", he hired attorney Darell Banks. Darell Banks, at the time was already representing Bill Brown's brother Russel Jr., on his federal drug case. Darell Banks arranged a private meeting with them Ingham County Prosecutor Donald Martin.
Why did Attorney Darell Banks arrange a private meeting with the Ingham County prosecutor? The true venue of the case is Calhoun County. Why did Darell Banks go to Ingham County Prosecutor Donald Martin and not to the prosecutor in Calhoun County? It was during one of these private meetings with Donal Martin, that the deal was stuck for Bill Brown to receive a one year prison sentence for his cooperation. It was during one of those "off record" meetings that I was accused of murder.
