WITNESS TAMPERING PART 2
I originally planned on writing about two individuals who testified for the prosecution during my trial. However, one of the witnesses has now come forward and is willing to speak to a private investigator.
This witness claims that a Michigan State Police detective visited him while he was incarcerated in prison and fed him the information he testified to during my trial. This witness also asserts that the detective made sure he received a favorable parole and the detective told the witness that it would be done confidentially... and it was.
The actions described by the above mentioned witness are consistent with what I wrote about in Witness Tampering Part 1. That makes 5 documented instances of Michigan State Police detectives feeding a person information and then promising to keep an incentive for their testimony, off the record. These witnesses have revealed a clear pattern of police coercion that is not only unethical... it's illegal.
Hopefully, after exposing this second individual, he will also do what is right.
Chad Scott as visited by Michigan State Police detectives, while he was in prison. Chad Scott only came forward with his information AFTER Bill Brown's story had been published in newspapers and broadcasted on TV. It's extremely evident by reading the police report and his trial testimony, that Chad Scott was fabricating a story, using the few details he heard in the news.
You'll also notice that in the 2nd Paragraph of Page 3, Chad Scott's first attempt at giving information did not include any of these later specifics. When Chad Scott first attempted to give the Calhoun County Prosecutor's Office information, it was only information pertaining to locating me. Chad Scott says he was not received well during that first interview and left the meeting angry. Why? Because the Calhoun County Prosecutor's Office knew that Chad Scott was lying. I have never been given a police report detailing that first interview. Why?
It wasn't until new details had been revealed by the media and Michigan State Police detectives visited Chad Scott in prison, that Chad Scott became a witness with real information. However, Chad Scott's real information is nothing but the regurgitated garbage reported by the media.
It's so obvious that Chad Scott was fabricating his story that it would be laughable... if it didn't contribute to framing and innocent man for murder.
Chad Scott claimed he overheard me make comments about killing a girl, in front of a hundred people at a party in Albion, Michigan. Although, Chad Scott doesn't remember the name of anyone else attending the party... or where exactly the party took place. If you're not from Albion, you may not understand how absurd Chad Scott's claims are. Albion is a small town. Everybody knows everybody. There's no place in Albion you could be and not remember where you were. It would be surprising to be at a party with a hundred people attending and not have a relative there, let alone not know anyone.
Chad Scott lied.
During his closing argument, Calhoun County Prosecutor John Kelsey told the jury that Chad Scott was a credible witness. Prosecutor John Kelsey also told the jury that Chad Scott did not receive anything for his cooperation and testimony. Yet, Chad Scott received a parole from prison without even seeing the parole board. Obviously, Michigan State Police detectives made good on their promise of being able to sway the Michigan Parole Board's decision and keep all of their deals confidential.
